Avoiding Late Fees on Credit Cards

Students can avoid late fees on credit cards by organizing the statements in a file and filing the records in a filing cabinet at the apartment. This way, the student can check the file to see when payment is due each time he/she receives a pay check. By checking the due dates in this way, bills are more likely to be paid on time.

The file cabinet should be stored in a room or next to the area where the bills are normally paid or paperwork is done. In this way, the records are kept in one area of the apartment. Decorate the area with fun pictures or artwork, and in your favorite colors to make it more appealing.

When you pay your bills on time, you are more likely to qualify for a loan. Creditors check your credit report to see if you are paying your bills on time and use this to determine whether you a re good credit risk.
